Hardik Pandya, part of the Indian cricket team, was recently rested on the West Indies tour. 25-year-old all-rounder Pandya preferred to work hard instead of resting in this break. He used to train twice a day. Due to the heavy rains in Mumbai, he had problems in training, and he went to Baroda.
Pandya has returned to the team for the three-match T20 series against South Africa starting on Sunday. He said that he was working on his fitness in the break and now the South Africans are ready for the challenge.

Pandya said, 'This break was very important for me because the IPL was very long and after that, there was the World Cup. I did well in both tournaments. That is why I was trying to give my best and for this, my body needed to rest because prevention is much better than cure. Then the team management decided that I will be given rest and I will return to the South African series.
He said, 'Neither the team management nor I wanted to get hurt. Relaxation helped me a lot and my fitness has now reached a different level. I started doing Pilates (a kind of exercise) and it helped me.
Pilates is a type of exercise that focuses on muscle balance and strength. Pilates is named after Joseph Pilates, who developed the practice in the 1920s.

Pandya said, 'There is no different thing for cricket players. So I wanted to see how it worked and it worked well for me. In the last month I have trained twice a day. To overcome my back problem, I needed to do something new.
When Pandya was asked about his sudden departure to Baroda, he said, "It was raining heavily in Mumbai, so I decided in just two hours that I would go back home and prepare for the South Africa series."
India lost in the semi-finals at the World Cup played in England. This has troubled Pandya, but this all-rounder is now looking forward and his focus is now on next year's T20 World Cup.
